Equestrian dressage competitions and the Championship of the Kharkiv oblast in a cross-country among skiers took place in Feldman Ecopark in the past weekend under the patronage of the ICF “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation” within the project 1,000 Teams Tournament.
78 participants from Kharkiv and oblast participated in the cross-country competitions. The pupils of the Feldman Ecopark’s Ski and Biathlon Club successfully competed at these competitions. David Bessonov (born in 2005-06), Maksim Nekrasov (born in 2009 and younger) and Anna Tykhonovska (born in 2007-08) became winners in the age groups. Solomiia Shulga (born in 2009 and younger) became the second, and Denis Manzhos (born in 2003-04) Arsenii Casymyr (born in 2009 and younger), Oleksii Martakov and Taisiia Budyanska (both born in 2007-08) took the third places. The winners and prize-winners got diplomas, medals and gifts from “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation”.
The Horse Complex Feldman Ecopark held club dressage competitions. The most difficult sport (riding №3) was won by Mariia Radchenko on Visit, Mariia Kovalyova with the same horse was the second, Diana Kuzmenyuk on Phenology won the third place. In riding № 2 first place was won by Milanya Rylova on Patricia, Daria Tkachenko on Mosaic won the second place, the third — Arina Shakun on Megust. Competitions for beginning riders and the debuting horses were won by Mariia Kovalyova on Ebert, Melaniia Rylova was the second, Polina Denchik on Tiramisu and Alevtina Oleynikova on Ebert divided the third place.
According to the dressage coach Anna Strelnikova, competitions consisted of the most different tests for children of any level of training. “The trainers carried out good work, all young athletes showed excellent results. We were particularly impressed by young horses; practically all of them have taken prizes. The feature of competitions was the fact that horses of various breeds participated in them. It was a lot more difficult to the children who were taking part on horses of heavy breeds, but anyway they’ve got good experience” — she noted.
In the nearest plans of the Horse Complex – carrying out on the basis of the Centre of not Olympic types of equestrian sport of club competitions in TREC (technique of horse travel and competitions): a type of equestrian sport which combines orienteering, demonstration of control of horse movements and overcoming of obstacles.
It should be reminded that within the project 1,000 Teams Tournament different types of sport successfully develop in Feldman Ecopark. In particular, pupils of Ski and Biathlon Club are numerous winners and prize-winners of competitions of different level in cross-country skiing, biathlon and a cross-country, and pupils of the Horse Complex – in dressage, jumping, equestrian vaulting, and western.
