The cheerful and fascinating holiday on the occasion of the end of the summer took place in Feldman Ecopark on Sunday, September 2. Moreover, this day, the B-Day celebration, traditional for the first weekend of the month and the Birthday of the turtle, oldest in our zoological collection took place in the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex.
Those young guests to the Ecopark, who were born in August, were able to celebrate the holiday in the cheerful company once more. Except traditional master classes in the birthday crown creation, congratulations and a festive programme, in connection with the new school year they received additional gifts – branded stationery sets from Feldman Ecopark. The same sets were prizes in numerous competitions that were held during this weekend. Among young visitors to the Multi-Complex, the huge soccer in which play not on the usual field, but on a huge billiard table, and among adults – the drunk bicycle enjoyed special popularity: a great many tried “to saddle” it, but only two persons could pass just 1 meter on uncontrollable bike.
The traditional scientific show in the Ecopark has this time taken a form of a “molecular gastronomy” where guests were able not only to see scientific wonders, but also to try exotic dishes, such as yogurt potstickers, mint caviar and tasty natural ice cream as well.
Moreover, a real feast took place in the tortoise enclosure where celebrated the 23 anniversary of the oldest spurred tortoise in the Ecopark. “The real ninja turtles as well as the actors of the circus studio came to congratulate her in prettily decorated enclosure. The birthday woman ate special cake, other giants weren’t left without dainties as well (the length of a carapace of the spurred tortoise can reach 1meter). 23 years is rather young age for the representatives of this tortoise species so there will be a lot of holidays in the future” — the organizers are sure.
This weekend, the actors of the Theatre of Children and Animals pleased the admirers with two interactive performances at once. On Saturday, a location “Visiting Alice and the Hatter” worked. Everyone was able to get acquainted with the inhabitants of the World through the Looking-Glass, the musical bicycle, a magic mirror, the Cheshire Cat’s swing, a smoothie according to Alice’s recipe and a set of surreal trifles. The ethnic festivities “Legends of Ecopark” with the powerful Cossack amusements, numerous master classes acquainting us both with the Ukrainian culture, and with the traditions of other peoples of the world, the Oracle of Fortune giving predictions and lively exotic dances became a highlight of Sunday.
