Large-scale charitable activities devoted to the World Stray Animals Day will take place in Feldman Ecopark on Sunday, August 19.
On this day, the campaign “Do More!” will be launched in the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex. Everyone is able to become a participant of the charitable campaign: it is just necessary to bring cereals to cook food for stray animals, toys, pet costumes, pet carriers, leashes and so on, or to make any financial contribution to the moneyboxes of the Centre for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home.” “Ecopark will double your presents for animals. Each contributed hryvnia will turn into two hryvnias, and therefore, twice as more solitary ‘tails’ will be able to feel your support! All funds raised during the campaign will be given to Kharkiv’s mini-shelters – these are our big deeds for our little friends. Let’s make good together! Do more with Ecopark!” the organizers of the campaign urge.
The main event of the day is a Outdoor Home Concert, which will take place at the stage of Feldman Ecopark’s children camp from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This charitable concert will include the performances by caring people and bands – the friends of Ecopark. The participants of the concert are currently listed. Moreover, the Outdoor Home Concert will also include time for an open mic: Ecopark invites all talented visitors to take part in the concert! For this purpose, it is just necessary to come for audition on Saturday, August 18, at any convenient time from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., or to provide a video record of own performance. Interesting quizzes about care and maintenance of pets will be carried out during the concert.
The premiere of the show “The Fairy-Tale Book” will start in the Theatre of Children and Animals at 11.30 a.m. The Theatre’s artists have prepared a lot of surprises for their fans with the participation of the show’s characters: after the show (at noon), there will be costumed master classes, costumed fair and cheerful games with fairy-tale characters.
Within the framework of campaign, the master classes in cards creation, clay modeling and mehendi will take place at the Enjoyable Path from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The visitors to the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex will be able to enjoy the live classic music concert “In Harmony with Nature” near the Swan Lake pavilion from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. An educational game programme for young visitors will start at the main location at noon (ending at 2 p.m.), while a quiz “Four Legs” will start at 1 p.m. Moreover, the final concert by Feldman Ecopark’s circus studio will take place at the riding-house of the Horse Complex.
In addition, on August 18-19, a festival of children’s book KidsBook Weekend will take place in Feldman Ecopark. 20 publishing houses from Kharkiv and other Ukrainian regions (Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Lviv) will take part in it. Before September 1, everyone will be able to purchase children’s literature for education and development for the whole year.
