“The former elections indicated that the political party “Nash Krai” (“Our Land”) demonstrated its effectiveness, and it is possible to say with confidence that our political project has a future,” said the co-chairman of the party, Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman today, December 18 in Kharkiv, during the forum of all levels of deputies elected to the local councils of Kharkiv region.
“Each member of our team faced the unprecedented pressure, almost everyone faced the unfair methods of struggle used by our opponents, and sometimes even dirty political technologies. However, we withstood and won,” Mr. Feldman emphasized addressing to the fellow party members.
Today, the deputy faction of the “Nash Krai” party in Kharkiv Regional Council consists of 11 persons. The head of the faction, Andrii Stronov leads the permanent commission on industry, housing and utilities infrastructure, fuel and energy complex and construction. The deputy factions and groups of “Nash Krai” are formed in six councils of the cities of oblast subordinacy, and six councils of the cities of region subordinacy.
“Nash Krai” has representatives in 22 regional councils out of 27, as well as in 10 town councils and 21 village councils. The representative of “Nash Krai” Halyna Minaieva was elected as a mayor of Chuhuiv, and Oleksandr Moroz was elected as a chairman of Babai town council and a deputy of Kharkiv Regional Council.
“We must not admit the people who supported us to disappoint in our political body. The further political prospects and the authority of “Nash Krai” depend mainly on the activity of all our members on districts, sessions, and commissions,” Mr. Feldman noted.
For the efficient work, “Nash Krai” opens the School of a deputy in order the politicians to be able to learn more and to upgrade their skills is the issues of state and party construction, local self-government and lawmaking. The party’s analytical centre also starts its work. In addition, for the prompt interaction with the electorate and the population, the office of “Nash Krai” is to be opened in the next few days.
