Centre for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home” has recently taken seven dogs for rehabilitation as they were left unattended after the death of their owner. The animals stayed alone for some time in a closed house, they were unattended and required veterinary assistance. They are currently staying under the care of veterinarians and workers of Good Home.
“We’ve received a call to our hotline from a forensic doctor, who arrived to certify death of an old woman from the village of Pokotylivka. He informed that there were seven dogs near her dead body. All of them were in poor shape. That woman had no relatives so it was unclear what to do with those dogs,” the head of the Centre for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home,” Iryna Podvoiska told. “We have arrived to take those poor dogs away and, first of all, brought them to the animal clinic. The examination showed the absence of dangerous diseases and serious pathologies, however, there was a bunch of problems connected with bad maintenance conditions – parasites, skin injuries, indigestion, and so on. Now, we are nursing them, feed them, the weakest ones get formula feeding. After the course of supporting treatment, the dogs will be vaccinated and sterilized. Then, we will try to find new owners to them.”
According to Iryna, one mongrel of this “magnificent seven” will be taken by a volunteer, who found out about this story from the social networks. Good Home hopes that the other dogs will have the same destiny.

It should be reminded that since its opening, the Centre for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home” helped to find new owners to more than 18,000 four-legged friends.
