The workers and volunteers of the Feldman Ecopark Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation improve their skills at perinatal psychology trainings. They learn the cutting edge methods of psychocorrective work with pregnant women from the leading specialists in this field.
According to the head of the psychological service of the Feldman Ecopark Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Tetiana Aliieva, the training programme includes theoretical and practical lessons, which will make it possible to significantly extend the spectrum of professional potential within the framework of the existing and promising projects of the Centre.
“The lessons are given with the assistance of a leading specialist in the field of perinatal psychology from Kharkiv Medical Academy of Post-graduate Education, a Candidate of Medical Science Yana Kryvorotko. The training is attended by the Centre’s staff and the volunteers, who usually help us – they are the future psychologists preparing to the forthcoming professional activity and mastering its complexities in our Centre,” Tetiana Aliieva noted.
It should be reminded that in November 2017, the Feldman Ecopark Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation started the implementation of a new project for pregnant women. Its first participants were the future mothers, which underwent the rehabilitation treatment in the Vysokyi health center.
Every week, they come to the Regional Landscape Park to take a course of psychoemotional support with the help of eco-therapy.
It should also be reminded that the Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation was opened in Feldman Ecopark in 2013. It renders assistance to children and adults, including the families of IDPs and ATO veterans. During this time, 6,300 persons, including 1,900 children, underwent rehabilitation in the Centre.
