A new project for pregnant women was launched in Feldman Ecopark’s Centre of Psychosocial Rehabilitation in November. It is implemented in the Regional Landscape Park Feldman Ecopark in association with the Vysokyi health resort.
The first lecture was attended by nearly 30 women having a rest in the resort for future mothers. The participants took a comprehensive course of psychoemotional support in Feldman Ecopark. Women familiarized themselves with the landscape therapy, met the animals of the park and took part in training aimed at control of emotions and formation of stress tolerance with the psychologist Iryna Kurtyshova.
“The programme of the Vysokyi health resort is aimed at maximum recovery and preservation of physical and mental health of the future moms. We continue working in this direction and extend the opportunities of this programme,” Tetiana Aliieva, the head of the Centre told.
The lessons will be held every Wednesday and last for three hours. According to Tetiana Aliieva, they will be as much versatile as possible. During this period, the pregnant women will learn not only to control their emotions and to set their psychoemotional state, but also to interact with the kid.
“During the first lesson, we have paid the special attention to the animal-assisted therapy, when each woman individually contacted the animals. All of the participants remained satisfied and noted that their kids returned their feelings. During the next lessons, we are going to extend the programme of psychological impact and get deeper into the work with the future child,” Tetiana Aliieva noted.
It should be noted that Feldman Ecopark’s Centre of Psychosocial Rehabilitation was opened in 2013. In addition to the future mothers, the specialists work with the children with special needs and deviant behaviour, with the families in difficult life circumstances, and with the war veterans, the members of their families and the IDPs.
