The Regional Landscape Park invites to devote future weekend to a healthy lifestyle and to join two large-scale sports and entertaining events which will take place in its territory: the festival of family recreation Active Bike Fest and autumn Kharkiv Eco-run. The events will be held under the patronage of the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation” within the large-scale social and sports project 1,000 Teams Tournament.
The two-day festival of active family recreation Active Bike Fest starts in the Feldman Ecopark on September 30. The participants and the guests, many of which would come here with tents already on Friday, will be able to see a lot of fascinating events, the most important of them are: the FlashCross photo quest (for adults) and Zh.U.K. cycle race (for kids). They will begin on Saturday morning in the territory of the Art Picnic, will pass across the territory of the Regional Landscape Park and will come to the end in the evening on October 1, along with the grandiose closing of a season of the Art Picnic weekends by Slava Frolova. The Active Bike Fest sports entertainment programme will also include the extreme show: performances from the stars of the Kharkiv cycle trial and BMX.
Meanwhile, on October 1, the Eco-run will be held on forest trails of the Regional Landscape Park. It’s the second time the project’s implemented in the Feldman Ecopark at the initiative of the Marathon Club “Kharkiv” with the assistance of the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation”. Everyone is able to take part in the Eco-run: from the masters to the beginners. Those who love athletics, healthy lifestyle and active rest will be able to cover a distance of 0,5 km, 2.6 km or 10 km. It is expected that the Eco-run will start at 11 a.m.
