Last Sunday, on August 27, the Open Doors Day took place in the Children’s Ecology and Nature Study Academy Feldman Ecopark.
This day, 20 stands representing various directions of work of the Academy were placed in the territory of the Horse Complex. Near them everyone could get the details relating to the work of various groups and sections. For example, in the Academy there are groups on riding, equestrian vaulting and trick riding for fans of horses, the Club of Young Cynologists for fans of dogs, the Ski and biathlon Club for young athletes, “The Alphabet of Nature” and “Grow in Ecopark” for the smallest pupils, the Theatre of Children and Animals for the art lovers and also many other directions: everyone is able to choose for himself the most interesting and necessary one. Near the stands numerous persons interested could register in occupations in the Academy for the new academic year.
“The Open Doors Day brought together a huge number of our future pupils and their parents. The occupations in the Kind Donkey farm and in the Pony Club enjoyed special popularity; young fans of the nature haven’t ignored other directions too. Though there are a lot of persons interested, we will try to accept all of them, each child must have opportunities for complete development — the head of Feldman Ecopark’s humanitarian programmes Iryna Yavorska emphasized. – The new direction for the smallest pupils– the school of early development “Eco-knower” became a highlight of the summer season. About 1000 children are already occupied in the Children’s Ecology and Nature Study Academy; all occupations are free of charge”.
The eventful entertainment programme – performances in the Horse Complex, the Theatre of children and animals, the circus studio “Neposedy” and a fire spinning show and a farewell fire with a children’s disco was held for all guests of the Open Doors Day and for the children resting in the summer camp Feldman Ecopark that finished the work this day.
It should be reminded that this year more than one thousand children including children with special needs aged from 8 up to 14 years from Kharkiv and Dergachi region, Kharkiv oblast rested in the Children’s health-improving and educational camp Feldman Ecopark.
