26 years is not much even for people. As for the history of nations and peoples, it is just a short moment. But still, so many things happened during these years – victories, defeats, pain, pride, disappointments, and hopes. Ukraine in 2017 differs so much from Ukraine in 2007, let alone Ukraine 1997. But it is our country. We have already learnt to appreciate it unconditionally, but, it seems that we haven’t learnt to protect it properly. The history tested Ukraine’s strength many times, and continues to test. But while the hearts of millions people living on this land are beating in one rhythm of hope and faith in better tomorrow, while we are united with the yearning for defending ourselves, our country, our children, and our future, Ukraine cannot be destroyed. Happy Independence Day, dear friends!
