“January and February – a period when many hoofed animals have offspring. We have been preparing for litter birth beforehand. Taking into consideration weather conditions, cozy and warm houses were arranged; our veterinarians monitored the state of future mothers. They performed delivery, conducted primary inspection, placed in quarantine if required – the deputy director Feldman Ecopark Valeriia Ivashchenko told. – To our general delight, everything went smoothly, without complications and surprises”.
At the present time the cubs got a bit stronger and are placed in open enclosures together with their parents. They eat maternal milk, but those two renounced by their mothers are being brought up from a small bottle by the Feldman Ecopark’s keepers. Little beggars have excellent appetite, they grow rapidly and soon when it gets warmer, it’ll be possible to get acquainted with playful and butting posterity in the Contact yard. Over time, perhaps, some of them are waited by a theatrical stage. It should be reminded that the Feldman Ecopark’s goats and sheep, irrespective of age, state and quantities of horns are sociable, artistic and talented – some of them have already managed to become the stars of the Theatre of Children and Animals.
