Campaign “Cry” took place in Feldman Ecopark

Last weekend, the Cry campaign carried out in support of animals took place in Kharkiv. It was organized by the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation” and the Feldman Ecopark.

The organizers of the event decided to attract attention of the public to the problem of humane attitude to animals: domestic, stray and living in natural conditions.

Within the framework of the campaign, the animal protection car run took place in Kharkiv on Saturday. The motorcade included old cars from the exposition of the Ecopark.

The visitors, who arrived in the Feldman Ecopark last weekend, were met with thematic informational banners devoted to the protection and correct treatment of animals.

An animal fair took place on the central path, where the volunteers helped everyone to find a four-legged pet. The special shows devoted to the animal protection campaign were prepared in the Theatre of Children and Animals, the Horse Complex, and the Kennel Club. The topic of the humane attitude to animals and the assistance to stray animals was highlighted on the stands located across the territory of the Ecopark. In addition, the dance flashmob and the video quiz “Our Four-Legged Friends” within the Mind Boom Show! were carried out in support of the campaign. The visitors of the Feldman Ecopark were able to take part in the interesting photo-quest offering to find the endangered animal species in the collection of the Ecopark, and to make photos with their representatives. Moreover, the children’s teams made a theatrical performance “The Little Prince” on the main square of the Ecopark.

“In the times of high technologies and swift progress, we often forget about the fact that there are those who need our assistance, those whose existence depends on us, and they are near us, they are on the streets or in the wilderness. If we pay no attention to the fact that it is more and more difficult for our four-legged friends to survive in the conditions of technological development, we risk not only to lose the entire species of animals, but also to lose humanity in ourselves. The Cry animal protection campaign is our contribution into the maintenance of the animal world diversity and the development of humane attitude towards animals in the modern society. The idea of the campaign was inspired by the work of the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home.” Saving thousands of animals every year, we couldn’t help addressing the public with the appeal to protect them,” the director of the Feldman Ecopark Andrii Roshchupkin emphasized.

During the whole weekend, the visitors of the Feldman Ecopark were also able to ride horses, ponies and donkeys, to attend the applied crafts master classes in the Master City, to learn stilts walking and juggling on the Eco-Arena.
