61 animals brought from the Dnieper zoo zone lodged in Feldman Ecopark. The specialists already transported the remained animals to Kharkiv and placed them in quarantine rooms for further inspection and rehabilitation. Rams, sheep, donkeys, the Vietnamese boars, Cameroonian and mountain goats, fallow deer, ostriches and ducks arrived to Ecopark the last. An elderly female camel that persistently refused transporting for some time finally successfully transferred a trip. We had to find the tail lift vechicle for this obstinate lady. Thanks to this equipment we could lift a camel on height and to carry out to the necessary compartment.
«The animals beared the trip light and easy. All of them are brought in Ecopark, all are placed in quarantine rooms where the next two weeks the best veterinarians of the city will be observing them. The diet, types of inspections, procedures and, if necessary, treatment will be prescribed for each animal”, – the deputy director Feldman Ecopark Valery Ivashchenko says.
At the end of the quarantine regulations the newcomers will be lodged in the open-air cages where guests Feldman Ecopark will be able to get acquainted with them.
We will remind that earlier the director Ecopark Andrey Roshchupkin informed that when the situation in Dnieper improves and appropriate conditions for keeping of animals, according to arrangements of two parties will be created, animals could return home.
