“A victory of the supporters of Brexit, even in minimum, will make possible to have a consequence concentration of the EU countries on the internal problems, and, as a result, their attention to problems of Ukraine will weaken”, – Ukrainian MP Alexander Feldman commented on the result of the British referendum on which hardly more than 50 % of residents have supported an exit from the EU. The politician wrote about this on his Facebook page.
In his opinion, there is nothing extra positive in it. Especially considering that situation which our country is going through now. “But for our politicians it is the test for a maturity too. We shall lead our own way and build Europe in Ukraine in the context of increase of social standards, indestructible observance of the principles of supremacy of law and tolerance. And then everything will be alright. And we wish our partners in Europe firmness and wisdom in searching for way out of a difficult situation”, – Alexander Feldman declared.
“Our strategic partner with whom Ukraine has chosen integration as a priority for itself, has a bad time: residents of Great Britain have voted for an exit from the European Union. News is disturbing. It is a real challenge and the test on maturity for the European politicians. It is clear, that the EU endures the next stage of the development. The EU, as well as any live education, is subject to laws of dialectics, there are also contradictions in it, there are crises, and there are external and internal opponents. Unfortunately, most of ideologists of creation of the EU are not with us anymore and, by and large, there is nobody to describe the prospect of its further development. After yesterday’s referendum Europe will become another”. – the MP noted.
