The Feldman Ecopark once again confirmed its status of the favourite place for family rest. On June 1, there were a lot of people here, despite the workday and cool overcast weather. Children and adults from all districts of the city and all regions of the oblast arrived to the Ecopark to celebrate the International Children’s Day. The guests were met by fairy-tale characters and amused by cheerful entertainers. Kids got teddy bears from «AHMADTEA LTD» and tasty ice cream.
The participants of the III municipal children’s sports festival “The Way to Olympus” were also present here; its winners obtained awards and presents. However, the special attention this day was paid to special children. Children of the sun arrived to visit their friends in the Feldman Ecopark. The special programme was organized for them: excursion to the territory of the Regional Landscape Park, communication with animals of the petting zoo, art-therapy lessons and equine-assisted therapy in the Horse Complex.
“The similar visits are a great joy for our children,” the president of the Kharkiv Association of parents of children with chromosomal abnormalities and geneticists, Iryna Shevchenko. “Although this practice is named by a dry term “socialization,” it is the real process of real-life communication. This world is not always kind to our “suns,” but, they need positive emotions to grow up. The Feldman Ecopark is the best place for this. We always get cheerful and hearty welcome here.”
The children of the sun and their parent will always remember the International Children’s Day spent in the Feldman Ecopark, because they got bright impressions from meeting lions and tigers, donkeys and horses’ riding, drawings created by them together with young artists from Kyiv, and, of course, sweet presents.
