The regional health-improving daytime camp Feldman Ecopark prepares to accept children aged 8-14 for creative, active and developing rest. The first session opens on May 30: over 25 children from Kharkiv oblast will come for new adventures and knowledge.
“Each session of the children’s camp lasts for 6 days. Every day, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the kids will be brought to the Ecopark by the company’s bus. They will have tasty open-air dinners and entertainment and educational programme. We will try to make their rest as much accessible, comfortable and exciting, as possible,” Iryna Yavorska, the head of humanitarian projects of the Feldman Ecopark told.
During the whole summer, the best and the skilled teachers will familiarize young guests with the fascinating world of nature and sport absolutely free of charge: the excursions to the Ecopark and its picturesque neighborhood will be organized for the guests, as well as phaeton rides, lake bathing, team walking tours to the forest clearing the obstacle, quests, competitions and interactive games with animals. Moreover, children will be able to watch how the artists of the Horse Complex and the Theatre of Children and Animals prepare their performances, to take part in the research works of young biologists, and to touch an amazing world of equestrian sports and mild training of horses. In the end of the session, children will take part in agility exhibition trials.
What differs the Feldman Ecopark children’s camp from the other ones is the professional riding training. First, the children will be proposed to meet the ‘residents’ of the Horse Complex – they will be able to feed the animals, to care of them and to walk with them. Later, everyone will be able to try themselves as riders. The skilled trainers of the complex will help children to find common ground with two-meter partners and to correctly and confidently sit in the saddle.
The Feldman Ecopark also plans to open additional sessions for children with special needs this summer.
