The Regional Landscape Park Feldman Ecopark sheltered four Orphaned cygnets. One week old swans were brought by young family from Kharkiv oblast, who had found nestlings when they went fishing. The birds were near the dead bodies of their parents, and did not know what to do. The adult birds were probably killed by a human. The family, who found them, immediately decided to bring cygnets to the Feldman Ecopark.
According to the words of the Ecopark’s workers, they have already found mother for the kids. It is a local goose. Despite all fears, she accepted them as her own babies at once: now the newly-made mother actively cares of them, warm and feeds them. She will be their family for the nearest months. When little “gosling” turn into beautiful swans, they will be released to the nature, to one of the lakes on the territory of the Regional Landscape Park.
It should be reminded that the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home” works in the Feldman Ecopark. It has already helped hundreds of animals who became victims of humans.
