The winners of the Feldman Art Park, the festival of modern art, the first stage of which took place in autumn 2015 in Kharkiv, on the territory of the Feldman Ecopark, will go to the Dukley European Art Community owned by Marat Guelman in June. They will be able to enjoy during the month the work in the studios located 50 metres from the sea, creative atmosphere, participation in local and museum exhibitions, new contacts, and, of course, wonderful Montenegro.
“We are intended to constantly support the authors creating the cultural heritage of our country. As well as popularize universal values reproduced in the artworks in Ukraine and abroad,” the patron and collector, the founder of the competition Oleksandr Feldman told.
It should be reminded that the winners of the festival are Bohdan Tomashevsky with the Portrait of the City project (sculpture), Ruslan Tembra and his Be Present. Morning. Day. Evening. work (painting), and Serhii Zapadnia and his The Bridges work (graphics). Their victory provided them with the grants to undergo training in the Dukley European Art Community.
The event was initiated by the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation.”
Reference: the Dukley European Art Community was created in 2014 in Budva (Montenegro). It deals with the creation of the new sights (tunnel in Becici, sculptures on Zavala peninsula, Living Town project in Old Town Budva), the promotion of creative economy (souvenirs, stylish clothes, recording studio), the organization of festivals, the exhibitions and lectures, the development of street culture, the provision of artists and representatives of other creative professions with residences and studios.
Oleksandr Feldman Foundation was founded in 1997. It is the largest charitable organization in Ukraine. Near $15 million was spent for charitable projects during the Foundation’s work. The mission of the Foundation is the care of the younger generation, the implementation of social programmes and projects directed at the support of vulnerable social groups, the support of spiritual development, the maintenance of historical and cultural heritage, and the promotion of tolerance in the society.
