The International Day of Families was celebrated in the Feldman Ecopark on May 14-15. The special programme Happy family day rejoiced both children and adults.
“I wish everyone real, warm, friendly, and sincere feelings in their families,” Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman said to the visitors. “I am often asked, what is love? For me, love is understanding and mutual respect. It makes a family boat to stay afloat and to survive even during the heavy gale. I wish every family to have enough awe, love, mutual respect, in order to overcome all ordeals and share the mutual happiness. Be more attentive to each other! Happy holiday!”
The bright competitions and shows were prepared for the visitors these days. The guests were surprised with the parade of animals and the series of new performances by the young trainers of the Theatre of Children and Animals. The special attention was paid to the children with special needs: cheerful active games with life-size puppets, horse performance, and concert with the best shows by singers and acrobatic rock-n-roll bands of the city of Kharkiv were arranged for the kids.
The event was carried out under the support of the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation” and the Children of the Sun, the Kharkiv Charitable Organization of Parents of Children with Chromosome Abnormalities and Geneticists.
“We are trying to make the time spent in the Ecopark unforgettable, cheerful, useful and, of course, barrier-free. That is why, it is particularly pleasant when the parents of the children with special needs trust their rest to us. We don’t divide children into special or other. As a matter of fact, all of them are individual and special, all of them want to be understood and needed. Support, attention, freedom and warm impressions from the contact with different animals, as well as everything we are trying to give to these children, will fill them with joy and happiness, we hope,” the director of the ICF “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation” Maksym Vodka told. “And we are very glad that this cheerful and bright holiday, despite the caprices of the weather, the Feldman Ecopark united the guests into one wonderful company!”
