Ukrainian MP, the founder of the Feldman Ecopark, Oleksandr Feldman offered cooperation with the Regional landscape park to state authorities.
“Starting from the moment when the Feldman Ecopark was founded, it is open for everybody without exception. It provides services totally free of charge. It is the unique project for our country, and it purpose is to foster the morally and physically healthy population. The closer cooperation with government entities will first of all help to increase assistance to those, who need it – families, which encountered difficult life circumstances, people with special needs, and children,” the MP emphasized.
Mr. Feldman reminded that the first and the single in Ukraine Centre of psychosocial rehabilitation works in the Feldman Ecopark. It provides assistance to children with special needs, children with deviant behaviour, as well as migrants from the ATO zone, soldiers and their families. The Centre’s activity is based on the advanced methods of rehabilitation, like animal-assisted therapy.
The Ecopark also offers various projects and programmes for children’s development and rest: Young naturalists club, Horse complex, petting zoo, various park amusements, and the opportunities for the full-fledged open-air rest for families. The Regional landscape park offers excursions and various other educational events.
It should be noted that during five years of the Feldman Ecopark existence, it became the eco-hallmark of Ukraine. On average, the Regional landscape park is annually visited by 1,500,000 guests from 24 countries of the world. As of today, 2,000 animals of 200 species live here. The Feldman Ecopark occupies the area of 140.5 ha.
