“War, refugee problem, difficult economic situation – these is our life today. And it is possible to survive only through consolidation. And, unfortunately, there is no consolidation now,” this was stated by the Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman in the air of the Radio Era.
According to him, the reason of the current political crisis must be sought in the past, at the moment of this parliament formation, at the moment of Arseniy Yatsenyuk’s appointment as a PM, and in his relations with the President.
“Whatever friendship, interaction and co-operation they try to demonstrate, I think that there was a conflict initially,” Mr. Feldman considers.
The MP also notes the absence of interaction and normal work between the Parliament and the Government. According to his words, there are two components of this problem. “There should be no PR in Parliament. This convocation, as never before, works specifically as a PR for the future elections, for the search of electorate. And less attention is paid to the problems of the people,” the MP notes.
At the same time, according to the parliamentarian’s words, the ministers are not active enough in their work with the Parliament. “Why the ministers do not come to the meetings of factions, why they do not tell about their work? The ministers should communicate with the deputies more, inform them about their opinions and to come to an agreement,” Mr. Feldman considers.
The MP expressed hope that the country would choose another way, the Government, the President and the Parliament will unite and will understand that it is time to come to an agreement and to work for the people.
