According to the organizers, hundreds of applications have already been submitted by teachers and students of general schools from across the country. According to the conditions of the competition, 27 of them will obtain grants – the necessary replenishment of nature study corners with fauna and flora taken from the Regional landscape park, as well as the equipment for its maintenance. The results of the competition will be known in the end of April, 2016.
“We want to make children happy from the communion with nature,” tell the director of the Feldman Ecopark Andrii Roshchupkin. “And we are ready to share the part of our animals. We are sure that they will get necessary care and love in new places, and will find new friends.”
It should be reminded that the All-Ukrainian grant competition “Project for school’s nature study corner of Feldman Ecopark” started in the end of December 2015. It is held jointly with the National Ecologic and Naturalistic Centre of Students under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The Kharkiv Regional Centre for Children and Youth Creativity was also the partner of the project.
The judges appraise applications in two categories: “I have an idea” (the creation of a nature study corner) and “The new view” (modernization of a nature study corner).
