One of the oldest Orthodox holidays, Baptism of Jesus, was celebrated in the Feldman Ecopark.
“I send my sincere greetings to all Christians. This heartwarming day, I wish each home peace, love, warmth and well-being,” said the Ukrainian MP and the founder of the Ecopark Oleksandr Feldman. “The Feldman Ecopark is the home for all religions and nationalities. It is the place of respect and maintenance of good traditions, like Jesus’ baptism commemoration. Let this holiday warms the hearts of Kharkiv residents today, and gives more joy to them.”
After noon, Father Oleksandr of the Assumption Church in Solonitsevka held a service and a solemn office of blessing of waters on the main site of the Regional landscape park. The priest sprinkled all people with holy water. Those one who did not take containers for water, were able to get it on the territory of the Feldman Ecopark.
After this, the visitors of the Ecopark went to the territory of Three lakes in order to dip into the ice hole.
It should be noted that the company’s bus of the Feldman Ecopark ran during the holiday more intensively for citizens’ convenience.
