Last weekend was productive for young members of the Feldman Ecopark Ski and Biathlon Club. They became prize-winners of two cross-country competitions at once: the Championship of the Kharkiv oblast and the Open Championship of the Derhachi region.
“In the Regional Championship that took place on Saturday on the basis of sport club “Temp” our athletes showed good results: Oleksii Martakov took the 3rd place in the age group of 2005-2006. Andrii Pashchenko took the 2nd place in the age group of 2007-2008, and Arsenii Casymyr became a winner in a race among athletes born in 2009 and younger. Solomiia Shulga won a gold medal in the age group of 2007 and younger — the head of Feldman Ecopark Ski and Biathlon Club Svitlana Ilyinskikh told. – On Sunday, the Championship of the Derhachi region on the route of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex took place. Once again our pupils were on the ball and added medals to the Club’s collection”.
So, Denis Manzhos won silver and bronze in the age group of 2003-2004 Vasylii Voronov, while Oleksii Martakov and Yurii Karpenko occupied first and second steps of the winner’s stand in the age group of 2005-2006. Arsenii Casymyr and Vladyslav Yavdoshenko took second and third places the in age group of 2007-2008.
“Girls were also productive: Taisiia Budyanska and Margarita Sytnik took first and second places in the age group of 2007-2008, while Solomiia Shulga and Katia Skorobogatova took the same places in the age group of 2008 and younger. Thanks to all participants and prize-winners. You are our pride!” — the head of Feldman Ecopark Ski and Biathlon Club Svitlana Ilyinskikh summed up.
It should be reminded that the Feldman Ecopark Ski and Biathlon Club was opened in October 2016. It is one of the most popular sports direction within the 1,000 Teams Tournament project. About 50 children aged from 7 up to 14 years train in the Club free of charge all year round. Since 2017, the special programme for children with special needs, including vision-impaired children and children with musculoskeletal disorders is being implemented here. Lessons take place 3 times a week in the territory of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex Feldman Ecopark.
