Last Sunday, the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex carried out It is Easy to Do Good! Campaign organized by Random Acts of Kindness Day. Participating in it, visitors did a lot of good and useful to animals and birds.
Among good deeds made by participants of the campaign there was a creation of toys for predators (this time for cheetahs) from old clothes and straw as well as drawing of “sweet” pictures using honey and dried fruits for raccoons and coatis. Besides, staff members and visitors hanged out in the territory of Feldman Ecopark eco-feeders for wild birds wintering here.
“They say it is easy to do good things. Today we made sure of that again, making presents for animals and hanging out bird feeders together with our guests who brought gifts to animals as well. For example, cat’s house and fodder” — the organizers of the holiday told.
After good and useful deeds, visitors to Feldman Ecopark were able to fortify themselves with tasty porridge and hot drinks absolutely free of charge.
In addition to Kindness Day Campaign, the Play&Learn location for the youngest visitors with outdoor games and tasks for ingenuity was open at Feldman Ecopark’s main location. A thematic interactive performance Winter Meets Spring took place in the Theatre of Children and Animals.
A day of spontaneous acts of kindness is celebrated on February 17 since 1995 in the USA where it is originally called Random Acts of Kindness Day. Charitable campaigns are carried out on both sides of the ocean this day.
