The project in support of people with special needs “Feldman Ecopark unites: we’re the same” is held under the patronage of the International Charitable Foundation \u201cOleksandr Feldman Foundation\u201d. The initiative is addressed to the whole country.<\/p>\n
The day devoted to people with special needs was held in Feldman Ecopark on Sunday, November 4. This day, the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex was visited by more than 1,000 special guests: both unique visitors, and organized groups among which, in particular, there were children from the Kharkiv City Children’s neurological hospital \u21165, the Special Teaching and Educational Complex \u21162, Komarovsky orphanage, as well as children and adults with special needs from Kharkiv\u2019s centre of modular houses for IDPs.<\/p>\n
Several types of special tours were conducted for special guests (including sign language interpreter and inclusive access), a tasty lunch, direct communication with animals in the pet zoo (for some children it was their first experience). Besides, children were able to see the elements of animal-assisted therapy and animals therapists (horses, ponies, dogs and rabbits).<\/p>\n
The founder of the International Charitable Foundation and the Ecopark, the Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman urged all residents of Ukraine to join this project and to combine efforts to improve life of people with special needs and all those in need of our help and attention.
\n“We start with ourselves and believe that this project will become All-Ukrainian. In all civilized world people with special needs are full members of society: they work in the government and private institutions, actively visit cultural and entertaining institutions, lead the same life as ordinary people. We’re the same. And beginning the project, we call upon all: theatres and cinemas, museums and educational institutions, government and municipal institutions, trade and entertaining institutions and also ordinary citizens to open doors and hearts for these people” \u2014 Oleksandr Feldman emphasized.<\/p>\n
Numerous visitors who came in the Ecopark on this cold November day joined the project starting under the slogan “Feldman Ecopark unites: we’re the same”. They placed special stickers on the clothes as a sign of understanding of the existing problem and readiness to help with the decision. Such special days for special people will be conducted regularly in the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex in the future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
