Feldman Ecopark Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation and the Centre for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue \u201cFeldman Ecopark Good Home\u201d started the implementation of a new joint project \u201cFind Home to a Friend.\u201d<\/p>\n
Within the framework of this project, children who attend lessons at the Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation together with cats and dogs, which found a temporary shelter at the Good Home, will appear in social video with an urge to all people to open their hearts for stray animals. The video will be published on social networks and, perhaps, on TV. The organizers of the project are sure that it, on the one hand, will make a new push to the process of finding new homes for stray animals, and on the other hand, it will be good for children.<\/p>\n
\u201cLittle guests of the Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation decided to take part in the campaign and help their four-legged friends find new home. These children together with their parents attend lessons aimed at prevention of domestic conflicts, improvement of relationships, they learn to accept, listen to and hear their parents and close people. At the Centre, they have lessons with different animal therapists. However, their acquaintance with animals, which became victims of cruel treatment, pushed them to help find new homes for these animals and, of course, caring families, where the peace and mutual understanding reigns,\u201d the head of medical service of the Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation Inna Vashkite noted. \u201cThe task of the Centre\u2019s specialists is to help children make an important step towards the understanding of openness, responsibility, compassion for the needs of others. This project is an opportunity to learn tolerant treatment of animals through the experience of communication with animals.\u201d<\/p>\n
It should be reminded that in September, the Centre for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue \u201cFeldman Ecopark Good Home\u201d helped find new caring owners for a record number of stray cats and dogs: 308 animals (274 cats and 34 dogs) found new homes. The officers and volunteers have already found new owners to nearly 22,000, and rescued more than 6,000 wild animals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
