In these serene, sunny days of the last weekend, the guests to the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex showed their strength and the Cossack prowess, participating in the competitions and quests prepared together with a bright show for the Defender of Ukraine Day, the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks, which is traditionally celebrated on the Intercession of the Theotokos.<\/p>\n
The guests to Feldman Ecopark were met by stilt-walkers in Ukrainian folk costumes of the Cossacks times on the entrance, and the Hetman waited in a photo zone inviting to take memento photos with him.<\/p>\n
All three-day weekend the sport and game programme \u201cCossacks Never Say Die!\u201d for children and their parents was held at the main location Feldman Ecopark, the participants competed in weight lifting, tug of war, sack fighting and other cheerful Cossack entertainments. On Sunday, those who showed best results in this programme were able to participate in one more test \u201cVarenyk-Show\u201d. The plate of the real Ukrainian varenyky with sour cream were offered to the participants, it was only necessary to eat a dainty hands-free. But the real Cossacks easily coped with this task.<\/p>\n
On historical family quest \u201cAlong the Cossack\u2019s Country\u201d, the visitors showed dexterity, ingenuity, musical abilities and other talents. Teams had to overcome five locations: historical, ethnographic, intellectual, sport and song. The accordionist or musicians from “Avzhezh” band were there to help the participants of the quest. On Sunday, a team of cadets of the National Academy of National Guard of Ukraine was among teams-participants of the quest. The winners were awarded with diplomas “On guard for will”.<\/p>\n
The guests were able to show their knowledge of Cossacks history, having participated in an intellectual quiz “Believe or not”.<\/p>\n
On the main location, the historical re-enactors from the park \u201cPrince\u2019s Sloboda\u201d also showed their skills. On Saturday, there were demonstration performances on modern soft sword fight, and on Sunday, they showed a rigid version close sword fight.
\nOn Saturday, the Theatre of Children and Animals Feldman Ecopark prepared a performance \u201cAutumn Kaleidoscope\u201d, and for the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks, a thematic performance \u201cLike in Our Ukraine\u201d and thematic games “Cossack Entertainments” were held.
\nThe festive concert with the participation of the Extreme show \u201cStrong people\u201d known as semi-finalists of the TV shows \u201cUkraine\u2019s Got Talent\u201d and the participants of the show \u201cSuper Humans\u201d became one of the main bright events on Sunday. Musicians and vocalists, actors of the ballet show and a circus studio “Neposedy” also performed on the stage.
\nDuring the previous weekend, the Enjoyable Path, where professional master classes in clay modeling and ribbon bracelet plaiting continued its work.
