The fourth season in the Children\u2019s health-improving and educational camp Feldman Ecopark has come to an end. This year, more than 10,000 children from Kharkiv and Kharkiv oblast improved their health and spent unforgettable days in the Social and Humanitarian Complex.<\/p>\n
6-day session in a camp is the real kaleidoscope of games, the developing occupations, master classes by professionals from the City of Masters, tours along the Ecopark and, of course, acquaintance with its four-footed inhabitants, walks around picturesque vicinities. The children took away unforgettable memories of visit of the Horse Complex, Pony Farm, Kind Donkey farm and the Club of Young Cynologists.<\/p>\n
“This year the summer camp has accepted children, perhaps, twice more than in previous one. At the same time, the programme of the visit became even more various and eventful. This was achieved due to new locations that appeared in the Ecopark this year, the realization of fresh ideas and thanks to enhanced cooperation with friends and partners as well. We tried to create all the conditions for the children never felt bored, receiving at the same time abundance of positive emotions, new impressions and useful knowledge” \u2014 in Feldman Ecopark told.
\nAmong innovations of the Feldman Ecopark’s summer camp there are entertaining lectures about the animal world of a famous biologist and eco-journalist, the author and director of educational shows, Andrii Hapchenko, a tour to the golf resort Superior Golf & Spa Resort with introductory golf trainings. As in the past, in this season the special programme has been prepared for the sessions with children with special needs.<\/p>\n
Traditionally, the final of the leaving season in the summer camp was marked by a big 3-day hike in which participated 150 pupils of various circles and groups Feldman Ecopark. Each hiking day the young tourists seized skills of work with climbing equipment, elements of bike orienteering. Mastered skills, such as installation of a tent, rope coiling, backpack folding, and starting up a fire. Besides, they practised kayaking and archery. At the same time, they made many kilometer hikes on the surrounding areas with overcoming of obstacles and swimming. With nightfall, the programme of the camp included not only an obligatory sit-round gatherings near the campfire, but also the lessons in the night orienteering.
\nIt should be reminded that since 2015 the Children\u2019s health-improving and educational camp Feldman Ecopark accepts children for a week day sessions. Since 2016 the camp undertakes sessions for children with special needs.
