Festal days in the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex were eventful and extremely interesting. The guests were able not only become participants of the special programme coincided with the Independence Day of Ukraine but also to get acquainted with the activity of the Children\u2019s Ecology and Nature Study Academy Feldman Ecopark. Besides, everyone got an opportunity to get into the spirit of knights in the real medieval camp.<\/p>\n
On Friday, August 24, in honor of the Independence Day of Ukraine, talented actors performed with individual programme on the main location of the Feldman Ecopark. The children\u2019s special folk theatre \u201cChildren of the Future\u201d was replaced by the Extreme show \u201cStrong people\u201d at the end of which the holiday concert \u201cHappy Birthday, Ukraine!\u201d started – the Feldman Ecopark’s guests were able to see the musical talents showed by the collectives of Kharkiv Higher School of Arts, Kharkiv State Academy of Culture, and Municipal School of Arts for Children and Adults, as well as by the classic music performers.<\/p>\n
The concert “Happy birthday, Ukraine!” also continued on Sunday when the Feldman Ecopark’s art group performed with the driving programme at the main location. This day, the festive lottery took place.Its winners received certificates on bike trip for two or a retro car ride.<\/p>\n
In addition, on Sunday, a retro zone \u201cIndian summer in Ecopark\u201d opened. The visitors were able to attend a live music concert by the Avzhezh band which to the main lineup (accordion, violin, drums) added small musicians gathered directly among the audience, gave them tambourines, maracas and other various percussion musical instruments.<\/p>\n
During the weekend, lessons in the open-air art studio have been devoted to paining on folk themes. Here drew wreaths, painted cardboard jars and towels, and master classes in the Enjoyable Path, such as \u201cLive clay\u201d – modeling on potter\u2019s wheel, \u201cMy Mascot\u201d – bracelet plaiting from satin ribbons, plaster forms painting.<\/p>\n
In the festive photo zone decorated in traditional national Ukrainian style, including, a big wreath and folk towels, traditional characters of the holidays – Kum and Kuma -offered visitors to to make selfies in national costume vyshivanka or a festive wreath.
\nThe organizers of a location \u201cPrince\u2019s Sloboda\u201d opened in Feldman Ecopark together with the club of historical reconstruction of the Middle Ages \u201cKniaz\u201d managed to revive a real spirit of the Middle Ages. In tents of the medieval camp surrounded with carts, the enthusiasts of historical reconstruction tried to recreate medieval life and the atmosphere of knights down to the last detail. “The visitors are able not only to see the medieval camp surrounded with vagenburg – a strengthening from carts on which all the necessary was carried, from tents to household items from the outside. Here we show life of the people living in the camp, internal conditions in tents, medieval utensils, cooking process. We do it in order that Kharkiv citizens and city guests could get into the spirit of the Middle Ages, to learn something new about this interesting historical era”, – the member of the club \u201cKniaz\u201d Fedir Katykhin tells.<\/p>\n
For the camp\u2019s opening, the organizers prepared a real knight tournament with duels and fights five on five and a small horse performance as well. The guests were able to try the hand in javelin contest, archery and tried to master replicas of the real medieval weapon \u2013 swords, axes, halberds, etc. The bright show was accompanied by authentic live medieval music.<\/p>\n
The Children\u2019s Ecology and Nature Study Academy Feldman Ecopark held the Open Doors Day. The tours around different sectors of the Academy during which young naturalists showed the awards and achievements, acquainted guests with the tetrapod have been organized for the visitors.<\/p>\n
“Our visitors can register in more than 15 various directions \u2013 different types of equestrian sport, the agricultural school “French” garden, the Kind Donkey farm, the Pony farm. Besides, we carry out enrollment in the Club of Young Cynologists, the Club of Young Biologists. The admission to the Theatre of Children and Animals and its various groups is under way. Certainly, special influx of children is expected in the school of early development \u201cEco-knower\u201d, where children will attend lessons of ecology, occupations with a pony and others, in particular, in English. On the basis of the \u201cEco-knower\u201d school there are also sports directions \u2013 the circus studio. Besides, the enrolment to the Ski and Biathlon Club is under way, as well. The enrolment to all groups of the Horse Complex takes place on a competitive basis. Children can prove himself in equestrian, get back on a horse and show the skills”, – the head of the humanitarian programmes Feldman Ecopark Iryna Yavorska tells.<\/p>\n
The children of the most different age are accepted to the Academy. The children aged 2,5 years can be admitted to the school of early development. The occupations for children up to 18 years are continued in the Horse Complex.
