Imposing and noble animals, known as ships of the desert for their surprising endurance the main heroes of the festivities titled \u201c\u0421amel Day, or Visiting She-camel Marta” that took place in the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex.<\/p>\n
Specially for Camel Day, Feldman Ecopark prepared the special interactive programme including a quiz “Interesting Facts about Camels”, a fine arts contest and a staged fairy tale. The prizes for participants of a quiz and drawing contest were memento gifts with Feldman Ecopark’s symbolics and feeding sets for animals. In a special location, the visitors created memento Camel-day cards “My ship of the desert”. A famous zoologist and TV reporter Andrii Hapchenko performed with informative and interesting lectures about camels.<\/p>\n
Certainly, a she-camel Marta became the main hero of Sunday in Feldman Ecopark. For that kind of thing, Marta left the enclosure and came out to guests to communicate with them and even to take for a drive the smallest visitors.<\/p>\n
Besides, the visitors to Feldman Ecopark became eyewitnesses of the unique event \u2013 the parade of the representatives of Tylopoda in which alpacas, kin of camels from South America took part along with she-camel Marta.<\/p>\n
Live background music gave oriental flavour to a holiday. The clarinetist dressed in a special suit performed with a live music concert “The Melodies of the East\u201d near the new camel enclosure.<\/p>\n

For thousands of years these animals perfectly adapted for droughty and desert lands provide for the livelihoods of millions of people. We want our guests to get better acquainted with these unique representatives of fauna, learned something new and interesting about the largest representatives of the Feldman Ecopark’s animal collection” \u2014 the organizers of the Camel-day told.<\/p>\n
Not only she-camel Marta and the kin were the focus of attention last Sunday. The noisy company of apes celebrated a housewarming to the new spacious and comfortable enclosure which ceremonial opening with obligatory ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Sunday.<\/p>\n
