Last weekend in the Social and Humanitarian Complex was devoted to the traditional national culture, including, one of the holiest orthodox holidays in Ukraine \u2013 Pentecost. Moreover, this day was devoted to the literary works describing lives of the people in times past. The organizers paid special attention to the 100 anniversary of Georgia’s independence.<\/p>\n
The Feldman Ecopark’s weekend began with the festive programme \u201cMetekhi gathers friends!\u201d devoted to the Georgian culture organized together with the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture and the Georgian Regional Charitable Community “Metekhi”.<\/p>\n
The Saturday guests to Feldman Ecopark were able to see musical and choreographic numbers belonging to rich, original and ancient Georgian culture performed by actors of the Academy of Culture. At the end of the programme the “Metekhi” collective took the stage.<\/p>\n
Music for all tastes continued to sound in Feldman Ecopark next day. On Sunday, the original folk band \u201cSerpanok,\u201d performed at the main location, and then the baton was handed over the symphonic orchestra “Virtuosos of Slobozhanshchina”. It was possible to listen to the performance of clarinetist and saxophonist in the pavilion near the Swan Lake, then the concert programme \u201cOh, I\u2019ll weave a garland for all of the holidays\u201d (based on Ukrainian folk songs) started, the music trio and solo vocalists performed.<\/p>\n
The Theatre of Children and Animals pleased the audience with another premiere – the show \u201cForest Song\u201d (based on Lesia Ukrainka\u2019s work).
\nThe Sunday entertainment programme including folk games, a quiz \u201cThe History of Ukrainian Garland\u201d, thematic master classes in creation of headdresses from ribbons and flowers was devoted to the national Pentecost celebration and other Ukrainian folk traditions. This day, the photo zone became a corner of the Ukrainian ethnography where visitors were able to take memento photos in Ukrainian folk costumes on the background of the traditional village landscape with real lath fence and straw sheaves. This photo zone also remained the next day.<\/p>\n
On Monday, the Theatre of Children and Animals and the Horse Complex Feldman Ecopark prepared a big \u201cForest Fair\u201d holiday. ” This is the first time that we are carrying out such holiday therefore it became a real surprise for our guests. We tried to organize the programme so that everyone who visited Feldman Ecopark this day enjoyed it. For this purpose we invited other creative teams with which we cooperate” \u2014 the organizers say. The show based on the musical \u201cSorochyn Fair\u201d which took place on the arena of the Horse Complex with participation of Theatre of Children and Animals and the theatre studio Vesna became the main event of the holiday. Besides, the holiday included other performances, which took place at the playground of the Horse Complex, in the Theatre of Children and Animals with participation of different creative teams, such as the circus studio “Neposedy” and a folk-song band from Dergachi.<\/p>\n
During the weekend the game programme for kid\u2019s \u201cChildren\u2019s Hour,\u201d cheerful \u201cWet Games,\u201d for fans of outdoor games with water were organized in Feldman Ecopark, the exhibition of traditional Slavic folk dolls \u201cOut of the Granny\u2019s Chest,\u201d continued its work in the Theatre of Children and Animals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
