On the occasion of the Day of Victory over Nazism in World War II, Feldman Ecopark carried out a campaign \u201cThe Path of Remembrance.\u201d On May 9, hundreds of trees in the recreation zone of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex were decorated with memorial ribbons with the names of Kharkiv residents, who defended their land and the entire planet from the \u201cbrown plague\u201d more than 70 years ago. The information about them was given by the descendants, who took part in the campaign.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Path of Remembrance is a part of our Foundation\u2019s project \u201cMemory and Gratitude.\u201d Kharkiv residents, who sent information about their relatives \u2013 the veterans of that horrible war \u2013 took part in its organization,\u201d the founder of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex Feldman Ecopark, Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman told. \u201cThe Path of Remembrance is, in some sense, a people\u2019s installation aimed at reminding once again about the high price paid for the Victory and emphasizing the living tie between generations.\u201d<\/p>\n
The topic of memory about the World War II and gratitude to the winners united on May 9 all of the activities in Feldman Ecopark. The special attention was paid to people, who experienced all horrors and difficulties of the war. Their favourite music sounded for them. And the special festive programme with the tasty porridge cooked on fire and songs to an accordion accompaniment.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou experienced inhuman suffering and horrors for us to be able to live. All our work is devoted to you. It is our duty. Not everything has proper results and there is no time to do everything we want, but I assure you that we will work constantly for you to always feel attention and care. One of our tasks today is to provide decent life to the veterans and the children of war, as well as their descendants, to make sky in Ukraine peaceful. The Victory Day is a holiday that unites, not separates us \u2013 children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the winners. It symbolizes the inevitable justice, because the evil, whatever powerful it may seem, will be defeated anyway,\u201d Oleksandr Feldman addressed to the visitors. \u201cCome here every year, on May 9 and any other day, because you will always receive a warm welcome here.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also congratulated all fellow-citizens on the holiday and reminded who the current generations owe their lives to, assuring that together with his team he will apply all efforts for the youth to never forget the price of the victory paid by their forefathers.<\/p>\n
Many visitors who brought all their families to celebrate the Victory Day in Feldman Ecopark were able to attend the performances by Kharkiv bands: \u201cOld Circus\u201d and \u201cThe Children of the Future.\u201d The actors of the Theatre of Children and Animals presented a lyrical performance \u201cThe Memory of Heart,\u201d while the Horse Complex, together with the circus studio \u201cNeposedy,\u201d impressed the audience with the grandiose stage performance \u201cWe Remember.\u201d The thematic photo zone was open at the central square of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex, where the children\u2019s pavement drawing competition \u201cWe are for Peace!\u201d also took place.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
