Last Sunday, Maslenitsa gathered thousands of guests in the Regional Landscape Park. Especially for them, the organizers prepared a rich entertaining programme, which included the traditional treats for this day \u2013 pancakes.<\/p>\n
Kum and Kuma welcomed the visitors to Feldman Ecopark, who proposed to take a thematic photo with them in the special photo zone. The visitors were entertained by the creative groups, Alligator children\u2019s theatre studio and Vesna children\u2019s band at the main and other locations.<\/p>\n
It was possible to test own luck during the Maslenitsa lottery. As for those, who wished to test own dexterity, they were able to walk through a Labyrinth. It was necessary to cope with it so that none of the bells rings in it. In five creative zones, the visitors, who came together with a family or friends, had an opportunity to create own Maslenitsa with the help of paints and ornamental items.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom time immemorial, before the beginning of Great Lent, people arranged Lady Maslenitsa\u2019s send-off. First, it took part in the festive procession, and in the end, it was burnt. We presented a little more contemporary version of this tradition in Feldman Ecopark today. It should be noted that everyone was able to treat themselves to the traditional pancakes. More than 20,000 pancakes were cooked in the Ecopark! We also did not forget that this day is also called the Sunday of Forgiveness. People connect a wonderful tradition with this day \u2013 to ask each other for forgiveness,\u201d the organizers of the holiday tell.<\/p>\n
The Wheel of Forgiveness was available for the visitors to help them to get rid of the load of negative emotions. It was installed for those, who wished to get rid of something that bothers or just to ask forgiveness.<\/p>\n
The culmination of the holiday took place at Horse Complex. Everything started from the cheerful procession headed by skomorokhs and the image of Yarylo Sun. The special horse show and entertaining programme \u201cMaslenitsa Jamboree\u201d were arranged here. The programme consisted of the performances by the vocal and choreographic show group \u201cBlack Pearl,\u201d Neposedy band, and the artists of Feldman Ecopark Theatre of Children and Animals. The concert was mixed with the funny games from Pavlo Palianytsia. It was also proposed to take part in the interesting horseshoe pitching competition, in the sack fight and to create a memorable coin from Feldman Ecopark at the Mint. Maslenitsa lottery drawing took place at Horse Complex as well. The winners were awarded with sweet prizes for the festive table.<\/p>\n
The entertainments finished at the main riding school of Horse Complex with the enchanting fire show and Lady Maslenitsa\u2019s burning. The notes from the Wheel of Forgiveness were symbolically burnt with it as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
