In the Feldman Ecopark Centre of Psychosocial Rehabilitation summed up the results of a summer season. According to the specialists of the Centre, during the summer the existing projects, such as \u201cEquine-Assisted Therapy for Everyone\u201d, “Happy Child”, etc. continued work and the new directions, such as “Family Animal-Therapy” and “Animal-Therapy for Future Mothers” started. Except directly psychosocial rehabilitation, various round tables and meetings with colleagues were held, methodological work was conducted.<\/p>\n
“From the middle of May the group classes in equine-assisted therapy and asinus-therapy opened. They will be held before winter sets in. In this quarter special attention was paid to parents. Especially for them the new direction opened. Thanks to it, mothers and fathers can dump kids in care of the Centre’s specialists and find time for their psychological health. Besides, individual and group classes for pregnant women are given” \u2014 the head of the medical service of the Centre of Psychosocial Rehabilitation of the Feldman Ecopark Inna Vashkite told.<\/p>\n
In the Centre of Psychosocial Rehabilitation together with the representatives of authorities, profile state institutions, public organizations and media, the problems of influence of social networks on mental health of children and teenagers have been discussed. Besides, in June the residents of Kharkiv and Poltava who have faced rare diseases, in particular suffering from a phenylketonuria gathered in the Regional Landscape Park. While parents talked with the heads of the Centre over consequences of orphan diseases, children worked with experts and animators.<\/p>\n
“From May to August the students-volunteers from the National University Civil Protection of Ukraine underwent training in the Centre.
