The exhibition of works by a young Ukrainian artist Serhii Dekaliuk \u201cAbstraction as Life\u201d was opened on the second floor of the AVEC Gallery. The artist was born in Ternopil oblast and it is his first personal exhibition in the east of Ukraine. It was opened thanks to the participation of Serhii in one of Art Picnic events in Feldman Ecopark. The exposition consists of pictorial and graphic works in an abstractionism style. The process of creation of similar works, according to the author, is connected with his rethinking of own life experience.<\/p>\n
\u201cEach of us has own goals, intentions, and plans. However, it is difficult to live according to the clearly determined algorithm. So, we often need to improvise, to use initially unusual life approaches, to compromise own principles,\u201d Serhii Dekaliuk told. \u201cIt is exactly how the process of creation of my abstract works happens \u2013 it is not always simple, but it is quite fascinating. And it absorbs, because it allows going beyond visible, feeling the energy of colour, the plasticity of lines, the solidity of forms, and when the melody of work is caught, the wish to create more and more appears, as well as the wish to look for something new, to listen to yourself, to see the result and to love. Everything is like in real life.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Abstraction as Life exhibition will be open for Kharkiv residents and guests till September 12. The AVEC Gallery (70, Sumska Str.) is open every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. without breaks and days off. The entrance is free!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
