On April 10, before the Jewish holiday of spring awakening, renewal and flowering \u2013 Passover, the traditional release of wild birds took place in Feldman Ecopark. This year, more than 200 bullfinches, Bohemian waxwings, chaffinches, siskins, greenfinches and common linnets flied away to the forest. Everyone was able to release a rescued flyer to the nature.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe spring release of the birds have already became a good tradition in Feldman Ecopark. It is not the first time when we together with our guests release the \u2018owners\u2019 of the air to the nature on the eve of Passover. In the wild, they will continue to make nests, create families, have kids and fill our forests with wonderful singing,\u201d the director of the ICF \u201cOleksandr Feldman Foundation\u201d noted. \u201cThe birds, which appeared to be unneeded for their owners or, even worse, were captured by poachers, have been finally released on this wonderful holiday of freedom and renewal. For us, parents, it is also a good reason to show our children, what the wonders of human kindness and care can be.\u201d<\/p>\n
It should be reminded that the release of birds in the Regional Landscape Park is carried out for several times during a year. In turn, within the programme of the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue \u201cFeldman Ecopark Good Home,\u201d the specialists constantly accept birds, which suffered from predators or people. The birds, which recovered thanks to the veterinarians, are released to their natural habitat. Those feathered patients, which still need help, continue to live in Feldman Ecopark. Thousands of birds were rescued by Ecopark\u2019s veterinarians, including swans, owls, storks, bearded reedlings, goldfinches, siskins, swifts, greenfinches, bramblings, hoopoes, jays and others.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that this weekend, the guests of Feldman Ecopark were able to have a rest in the entertaining zone on the festival \u201cSiblings Day,\u201d and also to be imbued with the ancient traditions of Ukraine and to know what dolls were created by Slavic masters during different ages.
