The International Charitable Foundation \u201cOleksandr Feldman Foundation\u201d begins the new ecological Feldman Crazy Bikes project within the “1000 Teams Tournament” program. The\u00a0 project’s aim is gathering\u00a0 of cyclists of the various directions in one place, healthy lifestyle promotion, competitions, quests and other bike events, a construction of cycle race tracks for different riding styles, involvement of youth and teenagers to sport and physical activities, promotion of active recreation as an alternative to computer games and social networks.<\/p>\n
According to Oleksii Korchak (the project manager), in December in the Feldman Ecopark (behind the Swan Lake) the construction of a cross-country track (one type of mountain bike) started, and its first stage \u2013 a kilometer circle with blinders, counter slopes and tracks opened already on January 15, the track is cleared of snow to soil. The Kharkiv cross-country fans and guests from Kremenchuk (Poltava oblast’) took part in the opening.<\/p>\n
“All participants liked both qualities of the new route, and the picturesque place in Feldman Ecopark where it is located. Fully the route 3,5 – 5 km long will be ready in the spring. It will conform to all international standards, include hole-blinders, counter slopes, pamp-sections, stone and log elements and many other special stages, therefore\u00a0 in the future we plan to conduct competitions of high level, – Oleksii Korchak tells. \u2013 We invite all fans of cycling to pass our track, it will suit both experienced athletes, and beginners”.<\/p>\n
Wishing to participate in cross-country trainings are invited every Sunday (gathering at 11:00 near the Glory Memorial in the Lesopark). It’s possible to pass the track independently in Feldman Ecopark at any convenient time. Also all cross-country fans can join the track’s creation in order to make it even better.<\/p>\n

In plans of Feldman Crazy Bikes is the organization of studies for children and teenagers in two directions \u2013 the Extreme Biking School and “The young bicycle mechanic” courses in the spring.<\/p>\n
It should be reminded that the “1000 Teams Tournament” is a long-term sports and social project of the International Charitable Foundation \u201cOleksandr Feldman Foundation.\u201d Its implementation includes the development of different kinds of sport and recreational activities in Feldman Ecopark.
