The Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman commented on the terrorist acts which took place on December 19 in Germany and Turkey on his Facebook page.<\/p>\n
“Yesterday two impudent and cruel terrorist acts have been committed. In Berlin the truck has driven into a crowd of Christmas fair visitors. 12 people died. In Ankara the Russian ambassador is killed. Many commentators including, unfortunately, our colleagues deputies already hurried to react to tragedies in such vein that these death were if not deserved, then obligate. They say, one shouldn’t conduct aggressive (in case of Russia), or too tolerant (in case of the European Union) policy then there won’t be any terrorist acts. Such reaction is not only unethical, but also unreasonable \u2014 the politician emphasized. \u2014 Violence and terrorism work in the world of the distorted cause-effect relationships, and no terrorist act can be justified by any “reasons”.<\/p>\n
“The only normal reaction to the tragedy is a grief, and on violence \u2014 anger and rejection. The moral relativism is a way to pave the road to hell where violence can be accepted, and terrorists are normal guys. This is my firm belief which I’ve learnt analyzing the lessons which the history presented to our world and to our country. Now it’s very pertinent to quote John Paul II: “Violence and weapon have never helped to solve the problem”. Though for many, unfortunately, continues to seem differently.
