Oleksandr Feldman’s Foundation will help Israel overcome the impact of the large-scale fires which raged in the country within five days. The Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman and the Ambassador of the State of Israel to Ukraine Eliav Belotserkovsky have agreed about it during the meeting in Kiev.<\/p>\n
“We support and always supported the State of Israel. Ukraine was among the first to respond and to give help in firefighting. Unfortunately, the fire destroyed 30 000 hectares of forest, people got hurt, property was damaged. Today our friends need assistance, and we are ready to provide it” \u2014 the MP noted.<\/p>\n
According to him, the agreement to plant one thousand trees for restoration of forests which were destroyed by fire is reached. “This small forest or park site will be called “Park of Ukraine” or “Forest of Ukraine” and will symbolize the friendly relations between our states” \u2014 Oleksandr Feldman added.<\/p>\n
Let’s remind, on November 24 the powerful wildfires have occurred in several parts of Israel at the same time. Tens of thousands of people have been evacuated. Ukraine has provided to Israel an aircraft to suppress the fires. Also the president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the decree on providing humanitarian aid to Israel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
