It is high time to stop political speculations on the elections and start the work the regional and city councils \u2013 such was the statement published by a People\u2019s Deputy of Ukraine and co-chairman of Nash Krai political party Oleksandr Feldman when commenting on assertions by some politicians on results of the vote count in the region.<\/p>\n
\u2018Being a front-line area, Kharkiv and its region are already in a state o economic crisis, and we must do our best to prevent any confrontations and, consequently, a political crisis which some extremists might like to take advantage of,\u2019 remarked Oleksandr Feldman.<\/p>\n
The People\u2019s Deputy claims that Kharkiv Region needs local councils that do their work. \u2018People are expecting high quality work from the deputies they have voted for. It does not matter whether someone agrees to acknowledge the election results or not, but our task is to work with all our efforts to justify the confidence of the voters and make people\u2019s lives better and more comfortable,\u2019 says Oleksandr Feldman.<\/p>\n
The politician noted that representatives of Nash Krai will promote transition to transparent and responsible locale self-government in every way. According to the people\u2019s deputy, the party members will pay particular attention to protection of the social safety net and to reduction of housing bills. \u2018Fair and carefully adjusted tariffs is the first thing to do for our deputies in local councils,\u2019 says Oleksandr Feldman. \u2018People driven to despair in Kyiv have already assembled for an anti-tariff protest, and we should not let the same happen in Kharkiv\u2019.<\/p>\n
The co-chairman of the political party remarked that local council deputies from Nash Krai would begin meeting people to help with their needs from 16 November.<\/p>\n
