Nearly 600 animals (generally \u2013 cats and dogs) found the new house during the action “Saving Life \u2014 You Find the Friend!” which took place every weekend from May to October in Feldman Ecopark. Organizers of the event -All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue \u201cFeldman Ecopark Good Home\u201d, the International Charitable Foundation \u201cOleksandr Feldman Foundation\u201d and the Animal League of Help.<\/p>\n
The majority of these animals found new loving owners directly during actions in the Ecopark and in the territory of the Barabashovo Shopping Center. About 150 puppies and kittens found home thanks to placing of their photos in Internet and other media sources. Similar actions are carried out since 2011. Animals which activists bring for participation in fairs passed veterinary examination, anti-parasite treatment, sterilization.\u00a0 Today \u201cFeldman Ecopark Good Home\u201d is the unique organization which develops such format of the animal rehome in Kharkiv.<\/p>\n
“This year the weather constantly interfered carrying of actions \u2013 the abnormal heat was sharply replaced by cold and rains; there weren’t many weekends with appropriate weather. But, nevertheless, a large number of people took part in our actions. More than one thousand volunteers found thrown animals and were searching new home for them, or rehomed the puppies and kittens during the season “, – the head of the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue \u201cFeldman Ecopark Good Home\u201d Iryna Podvoiska told.<\/p>\n
With the end of a season the rehoming actions don’t come to the end. We plan to carry out a number of actions in districts of the Kharkiv region. Also studio photoshoots for the animals searching new home (in summer the shooting took place in the Ecopark) will be held, these photos will be posted on the specialized websites and in social networks, published in newspapers and on TV.<\/p>\n
The organizers are sure that next year the action will gain steam. In particular, it is planned to strengthen its carrying out in the Barabashovo Shopping Center and to renew it in Central Rynok.<\/p>\n
Let’s remind that \u201cFeldman Ecopark Good Home\u201d works since 2010, and in the 2013 it became All-Ukrainian service which helps not only pets, but also wild and exotic animals: occupies evacuation, provision of the veterinary help, rehabilitation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
