All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue \u201cFeldman Ecopark Good Home\u201d is going to arrange the Marathon for Good action. It will start on October 4, on the World Animal Day, and will last for two weeks.<\/p>\n
The head of the Service Iryna Podvoiska told that the aim of the action is to help small animal shelters in Kharkiv and in the region with feed, care products and other necessities for animals.<\/p>\n
\u201cFeldman Ecopark Good Home\u201d helps stray animals for many years; it works with volunteers who help animals. Before the World Animal Day, we decided to organize the Marathon for Good,\u201d Iryna Podvoiska tells. \u201cWe ask everyone who cares about the destiny of stray animals to bring canned and dry feed, animal care products, shampoos, toothpaste, leashes, bowls and any other things needed by the animals. Both new and, perhaps, those things, which belonged to the pets in the past, may be brought.\u201d<\/p>\n
The boxes with the relevant decoration for these things will be located in the informational centre near the central entrance of the Feldman Ecopark. Perhaps, they will be placed in the other locations as well. The volunteers of the \u201cGood Home\u201d prepared small souvenirs for all participants of the Marathon for Good \u2013 wooden statuettes of animals decorated by children.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe would like more and more people to open their hearts to stray animals and join our actions. Everything we will gather during the Marathon for Good will be given to small animal shelters in need of assistance and support,\u201d Iryna Podvoiska emphasized.<\/p>\n
It should be reminded that the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue \u201cFeldman Ecopark Good Home\u201d cures, rehabilitates and finds home for the animals for over 3 years. The Service rescued thousands of pets.<\/p>\n
During the year of work with small animal shelters of the city of Kharkiv and the nearby regions of Kharkiv oblast, the Service gave them over 12.5 tons of feed and animal care products. The same assistance was rendered to low-income families, which have taken cats, dogs and other pets from the \u201cGood Home\u201d earlier.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
