In Feldman Ecopark sheltered three hedgehogs: two ordinary (European) and one African. Kharkiv citizens found two little hedgehoglets thrown in the wood and brought them in Ecopark. Kids were a month old.<\/p>\n
“Nothing threatened their health, special treatment wasn’t required, and however hedgehogs are still under supervision of veterinarians. Kids still need to be brought up that isn’t so simple in factitious conditions. Our veterinarians prepared a special ration for them “, – the deputy director Feldman Ecopark Valery Ivashchenko told.<\/p>\n
The African hedgehog lived at people’s house for a year and they decided to give it to Ecopark. Visitors of the Regional Landscape Park can’t see the hedgehog as yet because it is on quarantine.<\/p>\n
All three hedgehogs will remain to live in Feldman Ecopark.<\/p>\n
Information. The African or nanous African hedgehog has short body length \u2013 from 10 to 15 cm, 350-500 g weigh on average. Length of a tail fluctuates within 4 cm. He lives mainly in the countries of Africa and the states with soft subtropical climate.<\/p>\n
Ordinary or European hedgehog – an animal with a body length 20-30 cm, a tail – about 3 cm, body weight \u2013 700-800 g. It is widespread in Europe, Asia Minor, Western Siberia and China.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
