With the score 4:0 finished the friendly match of winners of children’s competitions in five-a-side “A tournament of 1000 teams” of a season of 2015-16 among boys (School 6, Kupyansk) with pupils of the Bulgarian football club Nessebar (an age group U-13). The match took place within a prize-winning trip of champions of “A tournament of 1000 teams” to Bulgaria which is held annually within the project of the International Charitable Foundation \u201cAlexander Feldman\u2019s Fund\u201d.<\/p>\n
We will remind that teams of boys from Kupyansk and girls from Krasnograd and Krasnogradsky district went to this trip on August 7. According to her organizers, 10 days of rest in one of the best resorts of the Sunny beach, fascinating excursions and various entertainment programs became an award to young football players for achievements in sports.<\/p>\n
“It already became the tradition of “A tournament of 1000 teams” \u2013 foreign trips of champions and a victories in away competitions with different European clubs. As can be recalled our children won against “Chelsea”, “Fulham”, “Leeds”, “Borussia Dortmund”. Ordinary school students from the Kharkiv region made to talk about Ukraine in England, Germany and Poland with surprise and admiration. Many adult football players from the Ukrainian national team should learn from them in their commitment and will to win. The present result of a sports battle in Bulgaria confirms that the spirit of the Tournament remained, and this is important”, – the initiator of “A tournament of 1000 teams” project Alexander Feldman emphasized.<\/p>\n
We will note that start of the next season of the project is planned for the beginning of new academic year.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe five-a-side tournament of 1000 teams\u201d is held since 2001. It is the Ukraine\u2019s first large-scale project directed to revival of mass sport for children and young people. Competitions always enjoyed wide popularity: more than 1 million school students aged from 10-12 years took part in them. Football Federation of Ukraine brought the Tournament in the official calendar, and UEFA recognized as the largest children\u2019s football competitions in Europe, having provided to Ukraine the five-star status within the Charter of grassroots football.<\/p>\n
Now \u201cA tournament of 1000 teams\u201d is the project uniting different types of sport on the basis of the Regional Landscape Park \u201cFeldman Ecopark\u201d. The trainings and competitions in five-a-side football, table tennis, volleyball, street ball, skiing, to cycle races, cross-country run, and different types of gymnastics, chess and other sports are held within the project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
