Prize-winners of children\u2019s competitions in five-a-side \u201cA tournament of 1000 teams\u201d of a season of 2015-16 holding within the project of the International Charitable Foundation \u201cAlexander Feldman\u2019s Fund\u201d, today, on August 8, go to a trip to the Western Ukraine.<\/p>\n
The teams which have taken 2 and 3rd places on the Tournament (Krasnogradsky and Lozovsky districts at boys, Bohrovsky and Shevchenkovsky \u2013 at girls), are in for saturated sports entertainment program: they will play friendly matches with local counterparts, will visit Arena-Lviv Stadium, will visit several fascinating sightseeing tours of Lviv.<\/p>\n
The two-day excursion trip to Zakarpattia where they will be able to enjoy wholly the beauty of the nature, to visit image captured medieval castles and unique thermal sources will become a pleasant bonus for children.<\/p>\n
We will remind that winners of the Tournament, the teams from Kupyansk and Krasnograd, went for a trip to Bulgaria the day before. And from the beginning of new academic year the next season of “A tournament of 1000 teams” starts.<\/p>\n

We will note that \u201cThe five-a-side tournament of 1000 teams\u201d is held since 2001. It was the Ukraine\u2019s first large-scale project directed to revival of mass sport for children and young people. More than 1 million school students aged from 10-12 years took part in competitions. Football Federation of Ukraine brought the Tournament in the official calendar, and UEFA recognized as the largest children\u2019s football competitions in Europe, having provided to Ukraine the five-star status within the Charter of grassroots football.<\/p>\n
Now \u201cA tournament of 1000 teams\u201d is the project uniting different types of sport on the basis of Regional Landscape Park \u201cFeldman Ecopark\u201d. The trainings and competitions in five-a-side football, table tennis, volleyball, street ball, skiing, to cycle races, cross-country run, and different types of gymnastics, chess and other sports are held within the project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
