Specialists of the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue \u201cFeldman Ecopark Good Home\u201d salvaged the deserted squirrel pup. The thin and exhausted kid was brought to Ecopark by residents of the twp. Small Danilovka, Dergachevsky district of the Kharkiv region. Having listened to the pup’s story and having inspected him, specialists came to a conclusion that probably the animal already lived in society and when those released the kid in nature, he just could not adapt to independent life.<\/p>\n
“The squirrel pup with ease contacts with people, quietly sits on hands and even allows to feed himself therefore we assume that earlier it was domestic”, – the head of service Irina Podvoyskaya explains.<\/p>\n
Efforts of all team Feldman Ecopark were involved to nurse a squirrel pup to health. Veterinarians examined the kid and prescribed him a diet. In order to return the kid a healthy weight, specialists of service daily gave him fresh goat milk.<\/p>\n
“Now Bill, as we nicknamed our red fidget, got stronger and feels perfectly: weaves nests, hiding favorite delicacies there – croutons, nutlets, corn grains. He tends to cling to people, requires attention and waits that someone pick him up. The decision to leave Bill among people as he won’t be able to live in nature has been made”, – Irina Podvoyskaya says.<\/p>\n
The family of the driver of the regular bus Feldman Ecopark Alexey Sitnikov volunteered to shelter a squirrel pup after his absolute recovery. In this family to salvage animals is a long-standing tradition. Earlier they already managed to bring up tiny kittens and a fox cub. Bill was prescribed a diet and the schedule of visit of veterinarians which will trace further indicators of health of a rodent. The main thing, specialists of service note that the animal found hospitable and kind owners who could give him due warmth and care to which the red handsome has managed to get used.<\/p>\n
