One more romantic place in Feldman E\u0441opark – the Swan Lake appeared here. It received such name thanks to 9 rescued mute swans, which settled on one of reservoirs of Triozerya.<\/p>\n
Especially for new settlers three rafts on a reservoir on which birds have a rest and feed were constructed\u2013 daily keepers bring them tasty delicacies: grain, vegetables and fruit. By the way, mute swans aren’t lazy in getting food themselves \u2013 they find seaweed and duckweed in the lake. Ecopark’s nearest plans are to equip 4 more rafts and 4 lodges for swans.<\/p>\n
In spite of the fact that birds returned to a native habitat, they aren’t lacking of attention of veterinarians and keepers of Feldman Ecopark. Every three hours experts make rounds and observe for condition of swans.<\/p>\n
The Ecopark’s leadership doesn’t exclude that soon the number of inhabitants of the lake and the coastal territory will expand.<\/p>\n
“In case of new swans appear in Ecopark, they might also join the others in the Swan lake”, – the deputy director Feldman Ecopark Valery Ivashchenko notes.<\/p>\n
We will remind, the swans which were earlier rescued by specialists of the All-Ukrainian Service for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue \u201cFeldman Ecopark Good Home\u201d found home on the territory of Triozerya. Some of them were brought from Valki (Kharkiv region) in winter; they were raised up and cured in Feldman Ecopark. Only having passed all necessary medical manipulations and inspections, swans were let out in a free swimming.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
