A new inhabitant \u2013 cheetah named Byron \u2013 appeared in the Kharkiv Zoo on Sunday. It moved to the new home from the Feldman Ecopark within the program of the ICF \u201cOleksandr Feldman Foundation\u201d aimed at preservation of rare animal species. The predator will adapt to the new place quickly, Zoo\u2019s workers are sure. The new enclosure was designed especially for this feline species \u2013 it is spacious and comfortable. Byron will be able to make a family here and continue \u2018dynasty.\u2019 Feldman Ecopark is already searching for the \u2018bride.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are negotiating with several zoos. I think, soon, our cheetah will get a \u2018girlfriend,\u2019 they will have babies and bring them up here together,\u201d the founder of the Ecopark, the famous patron Oleksandr Feldman told.<\/p>\n
He also reminded about long-standing friendship with the Kharkiv Zoo, and expressed confidence in the future fruitful cooperation.<\/p>\n
\u201cEverything we make together with the municipal zoo is for Kharkiv and its residents,\u201d Oleksandr Feldman emphasized. \u201cFor me and for each resident of our city, this place is dearest from the childhood. It is wonderful that it becomes better every day.\u201d<\/p>\n
