The L.A. Krasylnikova All-Ukrainian Biological Tournament Crocus took place in Kharkiv, in the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University on April 15-17. The teams from schools, young naturalists\u2019 centres, higher educational institutions and other educational establishments of Kharkiv and Kyiv took part in the intellectual competitions.<\/p>\n
The young naturalists of the Feldman Ecopark decided to compete in knowledge of natural sciences. The team of Ecopark\u2019s biologists reached the final: children defended their report about the methods of genetic engineering, imagined the possible ways of evolution of different organisms is case of natural disaster, answered tricky questions from the area of breeding and zoology.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey studied a lot, visited biology lectures, read additional literature,\u201d the research advisor of the group of biologists of the Club of Young Naturalists of the Feldman Ecopark Viktor Kovalev told. \u201cThe participation in the all-Ukrainian tournament helped children to get the valuable experience of team work, and they will definitely be able to use it in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n
